There are two ways to get to the top of the mountain.

From the West (Marlinton)

Marlinton, WV hosts an IGA, Walgreens and Liquor Store. This is the closest full service grocery store to the Resort. The Cook Family usually stops here for a bathroom break and groceries before the final stretch. Snow Kidding is about 40 minutes from Marlinton.

Take Highway 219 (Seneca Trail) to Route 66 (Cass Road). Snowshoe Drive is about 3/4 of a mile on left. Once you reach the top of the mountain you will pass Silver Creek then The Village. The Wabasso community is just ahead on the left. Pass the Wabasso sign and take the next driveway on the left. Snow Kidding is the 4th unit on the left (FYI, they are all on the left, to the right is a ski slope!).

From the East (Cass)

Cass, WV is an old logging town where you can tour the Company Store, visit a local artisans market and take a train ride to the top of the mountain. The is a convenience store here, but the selection is limited. Snow Kidding is about 25 minutes from Cass.

From Cass, take Route 66 (Cass Rd) for about 6 miles to Snowshoe Drive and turn right. Once you reach the top of the Mountain you will see the Top of the World and Soaring Eagle hotels/condos. The Wabasso community is just ahead on the right. Pass the Logger’s Run and take the next driveway on the right. Snow Kidding is the 4th unit on the left (FYI, they are all on the left, to the right is a ski slope!).
